Honolulu, Hawaii, hosts the first IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (IEEE SSCI 2007) . This international event brings together at one location 12 symposia running concurrently, each highlighting various aspects of computational intelligence.

The symposium series will be held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa in famous Waikiki. Sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, this event will bring together top researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world on April 1-5, 2007 to discuss the latest advances in the field of computational intelligence. The 2007 IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computational Intelligence (FOCI'07) will be held as part of the IEEE SSCI 2007 event. IEEE FOCI 2007 will focus on fundamental theoretical and practical foundations of computational intelligence, including but not limited to neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary computation, and other machine learning methods.
