ICICS 2008

ICICS 2008 :: Scholarships

Scholarships for UK PhD students

The ICICS conference series has established a forum that brings together people working in different fields of information and communications security from universities, research institutes, industry and government institutions, and offers the attendees the opportunity to exchange new ideas and investigate state-of-the-art developments. The participation of PhD students is therefore crucial.

For 2008, ICICS has been awarded a grant by EPSRC to subsidise attendance for up to 10 PhD students. Each scholarship is worth 200 GBP, which brings the conference registration fee to an attractive 50 GBP. All PhD students studying in the UK, and with a stated intention to remain in the UK following graduation, are eligible.

PhD students who satisfy these criteria are invited to apply by filling out the form below. Applications can be made up to 20 September, 2008 and applicants will be notified on 22 September, 2008 whether they have been successful. They will then have until 10 October, 2008 to register at the conference.

All scholarships have now been awarded and the scholarship application (below) form is closed.
