AISB/IACAP World Congress 2012

Registration

The registration fees for the congress are different for members of one of the two societies and non-members¹, as well as for students and non-students. The registration fee depends on the number of days you attend the congress. Fees include lunches, coffee breaks and receptions Sunday and Tuesday evening (guest attendance to the Tuesday reception is £25). Not included is attendance to the conference dinner, which is at an extra cost of £41 for delegates and £49.20 for guests.

Early registration is until 11 June 2012, up to then the fees are:

Non-members¹ pay an extra £60 in total (£22 for students). After the early bird deadline registration fees go up by a fixed sum of £50 (£20 for students).

If you wish to cancel a booking you will need to email us (med-cpdbookings@contacts.bham.ac.uk). We can only accept cash or cheques during the conference.

Students who are interested in receiving a bursary should get in touch via turing12@cs.bham.ac.uk by 8 May 2012. Notification will be given by 15 May 2012.

Publishers who are interested in having a stand at the congress should contact Louise Dennis.

¹ Note the following:

If you pay at the non-member rates you will automatically become a member of both AISB and IACAP for one year, unless you inform us that you wish to decline one or both memberships (by emailing turing12@cs.bham.ac.uk). Please consult the websites of the societies (reachable by links from the logos at the bottom of this page) if you wish to look at the benefits of membership.
If you are happy to join BOTH societies: If you are based within the EU, the cost of joining both societies via registering here for the Congress is very nearly the same as joining separately via the society websites. But if you are based outside the EU then joining through registering here is about £15 cheaper than joining separately. (This is because AISB normally has higher membership rates for non-EU people. The IACAP rates do not differ between EU and non-EU.)
If you wish to join IACAP only: You will find it considerably cheaper first to join IACAP separately via the IACAP website and then to register for the Congress.
If you wish to join AISB only: If you are BASED IN THE EU, you will find it cheaper first to join AISB separately via its website and then to register for the Congress.
If you are NOT based in the EU: If you are NOT A STUDENT, joining AISB separately is cheaper than joining by registering, though only by a small amount. But if you are a STUDENT, then joining AISB separately will actually be MORE EXPENSIVE than joining via registering.
