A convenient way to come to the University is by train. The Wolfson Centre and the School of Computer Science are only a few minutes from the University station. A train ticket from Birmingham International Airport to the University station costs £ 3.60 (compared to a taxi drive around £ 30). You will have to change trains at Birmingham's main station which is called New Street Station. From there you take trains in the directions Longbridge or Redditch, typically trains stop at Five Ways, then comes University. For the Wolfson Centre you turn right when you leave the station, for the School of Computer Science left. The web site at www.nationalrail.co.uk gives information on timetables and prices.
A floorplan of the rooms is available here. To recognize the venue here are some pictures of the entrance of the building, the reception area, the Wolfson Centre, the Leonard Deacon Lecture Theatre, and the Forum Lecture Theatre.
